Testimonials:

Valerie V.
Brooklyn, NY

"Anyway, about 6 months ago, I had an excruciating pain in my right ankle all the way up through my calf. Every step was almost crippling. Just recalling the pain makes me cringe. Taking the advice of my former co-worker Cris, I limped on over to Dr. Wolfson's office to get checked out.

The office itself isn't new but much of their equipment is. Dr. Wolfson and his assistant are extremely knowledgeable. His nurse practitioners are also very well educated, friendly and will answer all of your questions open and honestly. They take most insurance.

As it turned out, I have torn ligaments in my right ankle from cheer leading, multiple sprained ankles and my obsession with flats. Awesome not-so-much. After a cortisone shot with an inch long needle (ehhh cringeeee), foot wrap about 4 times, custom orthopedic inserts and four sessions electro shock therapy and my ankle is fairing pretty well. I have a little pain from time to time but nothing unbearable and after wearing my hip orthopedic inserts for a day, I'm as good as new. Ok, well refurbished."

"I visited Dr. Wolfson after I sustained an ankle sprain that still had lingering pain for a month since the injury. (Never play basketball in low-tops.)

The staff was extremely friendly. My wait time was only around 5 minutes (and I showed up 5 minutes late). I received x-rays that day which was a huge relief to me, because I am really disappointed in visits to doctors that result in a re-direction to another specialist or location to get additional treatment/operation that could take several days. Taking time off work isn't easy and neither is getting around on a sprained ankle!

After the x-rays I was offered a magazine to read while I waited about 8 minutes for Dr. Wolfson. This was a very nice and thoughtful touch. Nothing worse than waiting with nothing to read.

Dr. Wolfson spent a lot of time with me and didn't make me feel like he was rushing through the examination. He examined the ankle, asked me "if this hurts" at various spots, and reviewed the x-rays with me. He also gave me a cortisone shot and taped my ankle.

I was very pleased with his affable nature, his thoughtful responses, and professionalism. My ankle already feels better (but it's still too early to claim miracle healer).

The facilities are the only weak spot of this business. The interior feels a bit rundown and dated. However, Dr. Wolfson's office sure is in a convenient location.

Overall: I definitely recommend!"
