Testimonials:
For a patient, Judith McCormick, with heel pain resistant to conservative treatment Dr. Zapf performed a micro-incision plantar fasciotomy in May 2008. "I was miserable. I couldn't walk at the end of day unless it was on my tiptoes." During this procedure Dr. Zapf made a small nick in the plantar fascia through a heel incision; small enough that it took only one suture to close. Before the procedure she rated her pain at a 10 of 10, and only six weeks later, she rated her pain tops out at a .5 of 10. "After surgery I had almost no pain. I took two tylenol the day of, and nothing after that, I am very pleased with the results!" Judith came into our office again today for an unrelated matter and told us that she still has not had any pain since the day of the surgery almost four years ago. Thanks Judith!
— Judith McCormick

After treating her fungal nails in January with quarterly laser treatments and the use of mini-dose Lamisil. "Doctor, I am so happy with my toes. Thank You. I can see now that you are right. I will be able to go on a cruise in the Fall and show off my toes."
— Marlene G.
